ZARA's new Asia flagship store has officially opened in the heart of Nanjing's Xinjiekou commercial district. In this project, bespoke. collaborated with architect AIM to create a transparent, pure, and free-flowing in-store experience for ZARA. This is not only a significant milestone for the Spanish fashion retail brand but also a redefinition of the future of retail space.

Architect AIM aimed to completely eliminate visually irrelevant elements, creating a pure, transparent, and unobstructed entrance space. The client deeply resonated with this vision, and ultimately, through AIM's introduction, bespoke. served as the structural consultant for the entrance space, breaking away from conventional structural solutions to collaboratively bring the idea to life.

We approached the ZARA flagship store's entrance experience from three dimensions

• Structural System Reconstruction: Utilizing a concealed load-bearing design, the ceiling is self-stabilizing and does not rely on cables.
• Optimized Geometry: The staircase, walls, and ceiling form a unified structure, enhancing overall stability.
• Refined Material Craftsmanship: A combination of hyperboloid and single-curved aluminum panels, precisely spliced ​​and integrated, achieves a futuristic feel with smooth, curved surfaces.

Space as Narrative, Entrance as Brand
